Your free preview arrives within 24 hours of receiving usable photos. After you approve the style, your final files arrive within 24 hours as download links in your Etsy order update (Etsy emails it to you too). Links stay valid for 30 days after delivery. Nothing is shipped – it's a digital download.
Which photos work best?
1 to 5 photos per pet – 3–5 close-ups work best, with the face clearly visible: sharp, different angles, natural light, nothing in front of the face, no filters. Original photos from your phone, at least 1000 px on the short side – not screenshots. Upload them at pigmentpaw.com/etsy-upload with your Etsy order number and the name on your order.
Why doesn't the preview look exactly like my pet?
The free preview is a quick draft – its only job is to help you choose the style. Your final portrait is created separately and is much more faithful to your pet's face, markings and eye colour. If something still isn't right, your free revisions are there for exactly that.
How do revisions work?
Two free revision rounds are included, within 14 days of delivery: send all the changes you'd like in one message and we send back a new version. If the portrait still doesn't look like your pet after two rounds, we redo it from scratch or refund you.
What happens to my photos?
Your photos are used only to create your order, processed by our AI image-processing provider (based in the US, under Standard Contractual Clauses) under terms that don't allow training on your photos. Metadata, including GPS location, is removed on upload, and photos are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. We never show your photos or portrait in our shop or on social media without asking you first.
Is it made with AI?
Yes, and we're open about it. We design each style and write its art direction; the image itself is generated with AI tools from your photos. Every portrait is checked before delivery, and nothing is final until you approve the style. It is not painted by hand.
Can I print it?
Yes – at home, at a local print shop or with any online print lab; portraits print sharp up to 12 × 15 in (30 × 38 cm). The licence is for personal use: prints, gifts, wallpapers and non-commercial social media.
